God has been faithful to me
I was born on the 8th January 1990. I am the last child. My father was a business man from Western Nigeria. I had my nursery and Primary education in Lagos State, due to my father's constant absence from home, I had to go and live with my aunt, eventually I lost my father and my mother died of shock as a result of his death, this sudden change in my life led me to experience hardship and movement from one guardian to the other. I was continually maltreated and abused until God used my elder brother to meet with a Redeemed Pastor who got me in touch with Wholistic Outreach team.
They took me in August, 2004 where I am till date. I believe God to raise a foster parent to adopt me so that I can enjoy parental love once again.
God has been faithful to me, I gave my life to Christ in the home and I am growing to love him day by dayLove August, 2004

. God and His people have shown me love and I am grateful to Him
I was born on the 25th of June, 1990. I come from Rivers State. I am the second child of my mother in a polygamous house. My mother who is the third wife left us with my father while I was in primary school.
I was taken to live with my step sister at age 9 and she refuse to send me back to school because she wanted me to serve her. I later went to my grandmother who assisted me with the help of my father to get to JSS 1.
I was again sent to live with my aunt in Ibadan and in the attempt of being raped by my cousin's fiance I ran away to Lagos. With nowhere to stay I was taken to the police station by social welfare. After continuous search for help, I finally got an hotel where I met the Wholstic Outreach team who came there to conduct a crusade and took me to the Home. I have been in the home now for 4 months. God and His people have shown me love and I am grateful to Him. I need a scholarship to go back to school in September this year. I want to be a Doctor.Victoria

God accepted me as I am.
I was born in December 12, 1976 to a family of 5 children and I come from Cross River State. My early years were spent with my elder sister but because of continuous maltreatment I ran away from her and was taken to another uncle who was very wicked to me and so I could not stay with them. My elder sister refused to train me and when I was 13 years old they arranged a marriage for me to marry an elderly man without my consent to become his third wife. I had 3 children for him. It was a very bitter marriage and so I had to leave with my children and go back to my mother's house who sold me to the man for money. My husband who was a police man made life miserable for me even in my mother's house and I ran to Lagos.
I went into prostitution for 9 years to raise money to take care of my children as I realized no man was ready to marry me with three children. I met with the Wholistic Outreach in March, 2005. Now I am in the home and have given my life to Jesus. My greatest burden is the education of my children. My daughter is presently in Lagos with one of the Wholistic staff because I don't want her to follow my past life. I need scholarship for them. I want to become a caterer.Nkechi March, 2005

God found me.
I was born in Nov. 1981 and I hail from Cross River State. I come from a Polygamous home and I am the last child of my mother. My mother had me out of wedlock and I had to live with my grandfather who became a father to me but could not pay my school fees due to poverty, so I was driven from school. My financial situation led me into prostitution and had a baby in 1997. in the year 2000, I left my baby with my grandfather and came to Lagos to look for money and moved from one brothel to the other.
I got pregnant again and because there was no place to stay started living under the Opebi Bridge, when I was due, I was taken to a clinic which belongs to a Minister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God who brought me to Wholistic Outreach. I came into the Home in April, 2005. I am still young in the Home and I pray that by the time I am leaving, Christ would have been formed in my life. I want to be a computer Engineer.Joy April, 2005

God has been merciful into me, He raised help for me .
I was born on the 6th of August, 1978 into a family of five and I am the second child. My parent hail from Eastern Nigeria and are separated. I grew up with my mother in the East where I had my primary and secondary education until 2002. Things were quiet difficult for us, so my mother had to remarry to enable her pay our school fees and feed us. In order to help reduce our suffering, I went to Port Harcourt to look for work after my secondary education. I got a job as a service girl in a canteen where I met a man who promised to marry me and started living with him. His parent did not support the marriage plan but it was too late because as at that time I was pregnant.
He eventually abandoned me and I was left stranded. My family rejected me because of the pregnancy and found myself living in a school compound until I met with a member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God who ministered to me and helped me, I delivered my baby in the maternity at Ebute-Metta before I was moved to the Home in Ikorodu. I received skill training in catering and tailoring I will be graduating from the Home in August, 2005 and I need a job to sustain me and my baby when I leave the Home. God has been merciful into me, He raised help for me and I know that as his child, any where I go He will continue to sustain me.Aanu-Oluwapo
